Haglid Engineering & Associates was founded by Klas Haglid, P.E., R.A., in 1995. Our nationally and internationally recognized firm provides HVAC, mechanical and structural services for commercial and industrial properties.

Mr. Haglid holds over 100 approved patent claims in the United States, Canada and Pending World Patents for systems combining energy recovery devices with innovative controls that increase buildings’ efficiencies and reduce both owning and operating costs. By using state-of-the-art engineering coupled with manufacturing ingenuity and processes, we provide improved living and working conditions for people, while saving energy in a sustainable and green-build manner.

Mr. Haglid has been presented the Distinguished Service Award by ASHRAE. He served as Chairman of two ASHRAE Technical Committees: 5.5 Air-to-Air Energy Recovery and 7.8 Owning and Operating Costs. As an active ASHRAE member, he has moderated forums, presented many seminars on improving building operations, reducing operating costs, and meeting codes, and has published dozens of articles on energy recovery and building-related HVAC topics.

Haglid Engineering & Associates has worked internationally to help developing Eastern Block Countries operate their factories more effectively and efficiently.
